Rediff is a popular Indian web portal that provides links to new stories, Internet services and free email service. When users don't log in to their Rediff account for a certain amount of time, then Rediff deactivates that account. Since there is no other way to delete a Rediffmail account, you'll have to simply wait out the deactivation period if you want to get rid of your email address.
Open your Web browser and navigate to www.rediff.com.
Click the "Sign in" link in the upper right of the page.
Type your email ID and password in the text boxes. Click "Go" to access your account.
Forward any emails and contact information that you would like to save to your new email account.
Close your Web browser to log out of Rediffmail.
Refrain from logging in to the Rediffmail service for 365 days. Once 365 days transpire, your Rediffmail account is deleted permanently.
