Properly preparing, applying and finishing the eyebrows with the correct products will ensure that your brow makeup lasts throughout the day without any embarrassing smudges.

Things You'll Need

• Soapy water
• Eye makeup remover
• Sharp eyebrow pencil
• Eyebrow sealant

Instructions

1. Wash the eyebrows with soapy water or eye makeup remover. This will remove any oils from the skin that will prevent the makeup from adhering to your face.

2. Wipe away any remaining moisture from your eyebrows and allow them to dry completely.

3. Fill-in your eyebrows with a sharp eyebrow pencil. Choose an eyebrow pencil that closely matches your brow's natural color. The brow pencil's thicker consistency will cause it to adhere more effectively to your brows and skin than other makeup options, including creams and powders.

4. Allow the pencil to set for 30 seconds before covering your eyebrows with a light coating of eyebrow sealant. Apply the sealant with a brush or foam applicator to prevent your eyebrow makeup from smudging or melting.
