How to Export Your Song Using Nuendo

Nuendo is an audio and video production application for the audio or video producer, similar to other production software, such as Avid or Pro Tools. Nuendo's Audio Mixdown feature enables the user to export her song, once mastered, to the Open Media Format (OMF) file type, or other audio file types such as MP3 and AAF.

Instructions

1. Open the media project with the song to export in the Nuendo application.

2. Click the "Pointer" tool on the top toolbar in Nuendo.

3. Click the blue band at the top of the waveform window at the beginning of the audio track to set the Left or "Start" indicator.

4. Click the blue band on top of the waveform window at the end of the audio track to set the Right or "End" indicator.

5. Click the "File" option on the top navigation bar, and then click "Export."

6. Click "Audio Mixdown." The Export Options window opens.

7. Click the desired file type to export to in the Export Options screen; for example, click "MP3" to export the audio file to the MP3 format.

8. Click "OK."
