Step3
Perform the following three steps in one smooth, quick sequence.
Step4
Pull your front foot up hard and load your weight onto your board's tail to use it as a spring.
Step5
Pop off your back foot, lifting your back leg.
Step6
Draw your knees up as high to your chest as you can.
Step7
Level off the board once you're in the air.
Step8
Straighten your legs as you near the landing.
Step9
Land both feet together and bend your knees to absorb the impact.

Tips & Warnings

  • Ollie as much as you can to build jumping strength and improve your technique.
  • Ollie over things to help push your height limits. Choose forgiving things at first, so you won't get hung up.
  • Once you master the ollie, there's an unlimited amount of variations you can put on the move.
  • Snowboarding is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or death. We recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.
