1
Check the switch to the blower unit on the ProMax if you are receiving low amounts of hot water through your faucets. The switch should be in the "On" position at all times. If it is in the "On" position, check the power cord to the unit and ensure it is plugged into a working outlet and that it is not damaged.

2
Press the "Temperature Adjustment" buttons on the hot water heater if the problem continues or if the water is not hot enough for you. Pressing the button on the right will increase the temperature that the heater warms the water to, while pressing the button on the left will decrease the temperature if the water is too warm.

3
Check the gas connections to your hot water heater if the water is not being warmed or if the vent pipe on the unit is extremely hot. Make sure that all connections are tight and that there are no obstructions or holes in the gas lines. If you suspect there is a gas leak, leave the area immediately and call your gas company.

4
Check the area under the hot water heater if your water pressure is low or you are not receiving hot water as normal. If there is water, there may be a leak in the unit or the water lines running to and from the unit. Check the connections and ensure the pipes are secure and not leaking. If you find a leak, replace the pipe.

5
Check the "LED Status" lights if problems continue. If the "A" light is on, it means the unit is improperly grounded. Check the ground wire to the unit to ensure it is properly wired and that it is not damaged. If all of the lights are on, the "B" light is on or the "A," "B" and "C" lights are on, turn the power off to the unit for 20 seconds and turn it back on to reset the system.

Contact a certified ProMax technician if there is another combination of lights or if you are unable to solve the problem yourself. Tell him the exact model number of your unit so he can serve you better.
