Tips & Warnings
Water repellent sprays will work best to keep your shoes from staining. The best products will be breathable but keep stains and water from setting into the shoe. Always read the labels, and select a spray based on the material your shoes.
Some all-protector shoe sprays contain silicone. This can put a shiny coat on your shoes that could cause the leather to darken. In some white footwear, silicone may cause it to become yellow over time. If you want the leather to maintain its natural color, use a silicone-free product.
Choose fabric and upholstery spray that is suitable for cotton materials to spray the jeans.
