Instructions

    • 1

Fold the cord in half and stick the folded end into the pendant. Then pull the two free ends of the cord back through the loop to secure the pendant.

    • 2

Thread the free ends of the cord through the beads, and push the beads down close to the knot near the pendant. If the bead holes are big enough, push them over the knot.

    • 3

Measure the length of the necklace on your boyfriend, or if it is a surprise, use a friend who has a similar neck size. The pendant should hang down a few inches from the base of his neck. It shouldn't be a choker, but it also should hang above the neckline of a t-shirt.

    • 4

Crimp the coil clasps on to each free end of the leather. Thread the leather cord end through the coil, then pinch the end of the coil closest to the pendant tight with the pliers.

    • 5

Open the end of the coil farthest from the pendant to slip the lobster clasp on. Thread the lobster clasp onto the coil clasp and pinch it closed with the pliers. Fasten both ends together.
