How to Create Buttons in Adobe Fireworks CS3

Adobe Fireworks CS3 allows you to create and edit optimized bitmap and vector graphics, such as buttons, for any website. Buttons created in Adobe Fireworks CS3 are typically used as navigation elements for your website and may feature any type of graphic or text. When you create buttons in Adobe Fireworks CS3 using the Button Editor, you can create a button with an Up state and Over state.   1. Creating the Up State

      Launch Adobe Fireworks CS3 on your computer.

      Click "Edit" at the top of the program, then click "Insert" from the drop-down menu.

      Click "New Button" next to "Insert" to open the Button Editor in the Up tab.

      Click the Drawing tool under the Vector menu on the left side of the program to open the toolbar.

      Select from the toolbar the shape that you want to use to create your button.

    Creating the Over State
