How to Fix Skinny Eyebrows
Thin, dramatic eyebrows were extremely fashionable many decades ago. These days, eyebrow shape is a question of style; however, more natural, thicker eyebrows add softness to the face that is lost with overly thin eyebrows. Over-plucking frequently gives your face an unwanted "surprised" look, or simply makes it look as though you do not have any eyebrows at all. Fortunately, if you do somehow over-pluck, a little makeup helps you cover up the skinny look while waiting for your eyebrows to grow back in. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Comb your eyebrows with an eyebrow comb. Comb your left from right to left and your right eyebrow from left to right. This smooths the brows and gives you an idea of the exact shape of each eyebrow.
-
2
Look into a magnifying mirror or lean closely toward any mirror available, to examine your eyebrows as well as possible. Pay specific attention to the shape of your brows in the mirror. Comb your eyebrows with the eyebrow comb to fully define each brow as you look at them. Note any gaps you find in each eyebrow.

3
Fill in any major gaps in the actual eyebrow using an eyebrow pencil. Use a pencil that is close to the natural color of your hair or the roots of your hair. Sharpen the pencil and use small, quick strokes in the direction of the eyebrow hair.

4
Look at your eyebrows once more. Look at the over-plucked areas that do not feature any hair. Begin filling in the over-plucked areas with the eyebrow pencil in the same way you filled in the gaps in your actual eyebrow. Work on one eyebrow at a time.
-
5
Gently smudge the filled in areas with a cotton swab. Run your eyebrow comb through your eyebrows once more, including the newly drawn on areas.
-
6
Apply eyebrow wax to the tip of your finger. Run your finger over each brow. This keeps the eyebrow hair and drawn-in areas in place.
-
7
Continue drawing in the thin areas of your eyebrows while the hair grows back. As your eyebrow hair grows, the gaps become easier to fill and the appearance becomes more natural.

Tips & Warnings
Experiment with different eyebrow thicknesses. As your brows grow, choose a thickness that works well with your face. Let the hair grown in to the desired thickness.
Use hairspray on your brows in place of eyebrow wax. However, be cautious and only use it in situations where you do not sweat or it is overly hot.
Avoid tweezing your eyebrows while the hair grows. Pluck any connecting hair between your brows and the occasional stray hair, but otherwise plucking should not begin again until your eyebrows are returned to their previous appearance.
