Simply pouring water down the drains will not do much to dissolve soap scum, which can be quite resistant to rinsing.   • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Boiling water

Instructions

      Pour ½ cup baking soda down the drain.

      Pour ½ cup white vinegar down the drain.

      Cover the drain with the drain plug and let it sit for 15 minutes.

      Boil 2 qt. water and carefully pour it down the drain.

    • 5

      Repeat the process if the drains are still clogged or if they are draining slowly.
