Share your favorite pictures in a Facebook photo album.

Once you've taken digital photos and transferred them to your computer, you might want to share the photos with family, friends and co-workers. The Facebook social networking site includes an online photo application that allows users to upload photos and create new photo albums. Once you've made a Facebook photo album and filled it with photos, your Facebook friends can access the album, and comment on the pictures.

Instructions

      Log in to your Facebook account.

      Choose "Photo" in the Share menu bar at the top of your Facebook homepage. Click the "Create an Album" link.

      Click the "Select Photos" button to open the Facebook photo upload application. Browse to the folder on your computer that contains the photos you want to place in the Facebook album.

      Click the image that you want to upload to select and highlight the file. To transfer multiple photos, press and hold the "Ctrl" key on the computer keyboard, and click each file. Click the "Open" button.

      Type a descriptive name for the photo album in the "Title" input field. Under "Privacy Settings," select your preferred sharing control settings by clicking the relevant check box. You can choose to share the photo album with selected friends, all your Facebook friends, your friends' friends or all Facebook users. Facebook now uploads the selected photos.

      Click the "Create an Album" button. Facebook now displays the uploaded photos in the album.

Tips & Warnings

  • Images from the new album will appear in your friends' Facebook homepage news feeds, and they can access the album by clicking this link or by selecting "Photos" from your profile page.
