How to Keep Toenail Polish From Smudging When Jogging
The length of time nail polish takes to dry is one of life's perpetual annoyances. No matter how frustrating it may be, the only way to avoid smudging your new pedicure while jogging is to wait for your polish to dry completely before you put on your running shoes. Use quick-dry nail polish. Select one with a UV filter, which stops the polish from yellowing in the sun. Refrigerate your nail polish for 20 minutes before applying it.

Apply your nail polish in thin, even layers. The thinner the layers, the more easily they will dry and the more sturdy your pedicure will be. Wait 1 minute after each layer before applying the next.

Put on a transparent top coat. Let it dry for 5 minutes.

Fill a small bowl with ice water. Dip your toes into it, and let the water freeze your nails for 3 minutes. If this is too uncomfortable, blow dry your nails on your dryer's coolest setting instead.

Tips & Warnings
Brush off excess polish on the side of the bottle before you apply the brush to your nails. This helps create thinner layers.
Do not keep your toes in ice water for longer than 3 minutes.
