How to Make a Miniature Chef's Hat Out of Paper
When you think of a chef, one of the first things that might come to your mind is a white apron and a white, poofy hat. If you are dressing up a doll as a chef, you will need to make a miniature version of this hat. You can create one fairly easily with computer paper, tissue paper and tape. All of the materials are available at any craft store, or you may already have them in your home.
Instructions

1
Cut a 2-inch strip of white computer paper that is long enough to go around your doll's head like a headband. Allow a bit of overlap.
-
2
Tape the headband together.
-
-
3
Tape 8-inch squares of white tissue paper inside the headband, slightly overlapping, until the entire band has tissue paper sticking up from it.
-
4
Reach through the bottom of the hat and gather the ends of the tissue paper. Twist them together inside of the hat, forming a poof on top of the headband.
-
5
Tape the twist together.

Tips & Warnings
Adjust the sizes in this project as needed for your dolls. Use tissue paper made for wrapping gifts, not the kind used in the bathroom.
