Pokemon are derived from the Japanese term for "pocket monster."

Pokemon Pearl is a video game for the Nintendo DS that allows the user to fight with a whole new set of Pokemon from the originals developed in the 90s. Azurill is a Dot Pokemon that uses its tail for food and movement. Get an Azurill two ways in Pokemon Pearl. You can either create an Azurill by finding and breeding Marills or you can wander until you find one in the wild.

Instructions

  1. Breed Azurill

    • 1

Catch both a male and female Marill by either finding them in the wild or trading for them.

    • 2

Find Sea Incense by going to Jubilife City and surfing on the water at the North exit. Follow the fence path and you will eventually be able to claim Sea Incense.

    • 3

Make one of the Marills hold the Sea Incense. It does not matter which one, male or female, holds it.

    • 4

Take the two Marills to the Day Care in Solaceon Town in the northwest corner.

    • 5

Leave them at day care until they breed an Azurill. You may need to walk around for a day or two until this happens.

    Wander

    • 6

Train until you are at level 16 or higher. You will not see an Azurill in the wild until at least level 16. The optimum level for finding an Azurill is between level 20 and level 26.

    • 7

Go to the Pastoria Great Marsh Game and wander until an Azurill shows itself for battle. There is only a slight, 1-percent chance that you will ever see a wild Azurill in the game for most areas. If you search Area 5 of Pastoria Great Marsh, the chance goes to 5 percent.

    • 8

Weaken the Azurill in battle until you successfully catch it in a Pokeball.
