How to Block Advertisements on Web Pages in Chrome
It is inevitable that you will run into advertisements on Web pages while you are surfing the Internet. The level of intrusiveness of an ad depends on the format of the ad. Some ads appear as pop-ups while others are embedded into the Web page. The Google Chrome Web browser by default blocks all pop-up ads from opening. However, it does not automatically block other types of ads. Install a Chrome ad blocker extension from the Chrome Web Store to block all other advertisement formats.
