How to Make a Pearl Hair Vine
A pearl hair vine hair ornament can add glamour and style to a hairdo. This vine would be a striking accessory to a bridal gown with or without a veil. Bead supply stores carry a variety of high quality pearls, which are available in a several colors and sizes. Fine-gauge silver wire will form the vine and pearl branches. The pearl hair vine can be custom created to fit any head, including a child's.
Things You'll Need
- 20 drilled pearls
- 3 yards 36 gauge silver wire
- Wire nippers
- White hair comb
- Epoxy glue

Bend the wire in half with your fingers and string one pearl on one half of the wire.

Push the pearl to the fold in the wire at the halfway point. Bend the wire over the pearl and twist the wire pieces to secure the pearl in place.

Twist the wire pieces together for 1 inch. Slide another pearl to 1 inch of the twisted wires and bend the wire over the pearl, twisting the wires to secure it in place.

Continue adding pearls to both halves of the wire, bending the wires and twisting them to create a pearl vine. Secure the final bead in place and cut off the excess wire with the wire cutters.

Attach the pearl vine to the top of the hair comb with the epoxy glue and let the glue dry for 24 hours.

Tips & Warnings
The pearl vine could also be attached to a silver brooch pin finding with epoxy glue for a brooch.
