How to Move Content From "Second Life" to "InWorldz"

"Second Life" is an online world with millions of members. In this world, boats, houses, bikes and almost anything imaginable can be made out of linked geometric shapes. There are similar online worlds that resemble the "Second Life" format, such as "InWorldz." If done correctly, you can transfer your creations from "Second Life" to the "InWorldz" game.

Instructions

Open your viewer software on your computer. For the following project to work, use an alternate "Second Life" viewer such as "Emerald" or "Imprudence." Type in your avatars user name and password, then put a check in the "Remember Me" box if you want it to have it auto fill on your next use. Log into the viewer, accepting any agreements if you wish to continue.

Place an object on the terrain from your game's inventory by pulling it out with the curser and pressing right mouse button. This object must have "Copy" and "Transfer" permissions. You can check the permissions by clicking on the item and choosing "Properties" before you place it. Right-click on the item on the terrain and choose "More" from the pie menu twice, then choose "Export." Add a name and a place to save the item on your computer in the window that appears, then click the "Save" tab.

Download the free "InWorldz" software from the Internet. Set up an account with "InWorldz" online, as your "Second Life" account will not work. Start the software and type in your name and password, then log in. Click on the "File" tab in the upper left area of your game window and choose "Import" from the drop-down menu. A window will appear to search for the object you uploaded previously. Locate the object, highlight it and click on the "Open" tab to upload it to your "InWorldz" game. Locate the item in your game's "Inventory" and pull it to the terrain as you did in Step 2 to see your newly transferred object.
