How Can I Read My Apple iBooks on My Kindle?
The Amazon Kindle is a device that allows you to take a digital library wherever you go. While using a Kindle can be convenient, there is at least one drawback -- Apple iBooks and certain other kinds of files can't be read on Amazon's device. It is possible, however, to convert Apple iBook files to make them readable on your portable Kindle.

1
Find a file conversion program that will transform .EPUB books into .AZW or .MOBI files. There are plenty of such programs available on the Internet, and they are available on a number of legitimate download websites. You should be careful when downloading programs from websites with which you're unfamiliar, as disreputable sites may offer files laden with viruses or spyware.
-
2
Download the program you've selected and install it according to the directions provided by the download site. If given the option, you may want to tell the program to place an icon on your desktop, making it easy for you to access the program.

3
Transfer your Apple iBooks .EPUB files to the Kindle format using your new conversion program. While each program is different, in general, the program will simply ask you to select files to convert and to decide what format you want them changed into. Consult the program's Help file if you experience any problems.

4
Verify that you have successfully converted your .EPUB files to the .AZW or .MOBI format. Double-check by opening Windows Explorer and finding the files in question. Right-click on a file and select "Properties." This will bring up a window that lists the qualities of the file. A properly converted file will be listed with the .AZW or .MOBI extension.
-
5
Copy the converted .AZW or .MOBI files to your Kindle. There are a few ways to do this. First, you can transfer the files by connecting your Kindle to your computer via USB. When your Kindle is plugged into your computer, just use Windows Explorer to copy-and-paste files into your Kindle's folders. It is also possible to transfer converted files wirelessly to your Kindle via Wi-Fi.

Tips & Warnings
Understand that your Apple iBooks are really just digital files.
Most of the books people purchase from Amazon are encoded as a Kindle file with the extension .AZW.
The Kindle also uses the .MOBI file extension for documents.
Apple iBook files, however, are a different kind of file -- .EPUB.
EPub files can be viewed on a wide range of electronic devices, including Barnes & Noble's Nook e-reader.
