How to Use the Emulated Wii Remote With Dolphin

Dolphin is an open-source emulator for the game consoles Nintendo GameCube and Wii It gives PC users an opportunity to play their Wii games on their computer. You can connect your Wii remote to the computer using Bluetooth, but you can also use your keyboard as an emulated remote. Dolphin comes complete with a Wii remote emulation setting that enables a keyboard, mouse and USB controller to be used as the game controller. Each press of the Dolphin-mapped keyboard or mouse key acts as if you are pressing the corresponding Wii remote button.

      Go the Dolphin Emulator website and download the "Dolphin.exe" file. open this file to open Dolphin.

      Click the "Wiimote" option on the top of the main Dolphin window. Click the button underneath the "Input Source" heading.

      Click the "Emulated Wiimote" option from the context menu that comes up. Click the "Configure" button, and a list of Wiimote buttons will come up.

      Click each button and press the button on the keyboard or mouse that you want to be synced to that specific Wiimote button.

      Click "Save" and Dolphin's emulated Wiimote settings are now set.
