Canon Pro9000 Printer Color Calibration Problems

The Canon Pro9000 printer produces black and white documents as well as color prints. After the printer is setup, you might experience trouble producing correct color prints.

  1. Print Quality

    • If color saturation of an image is different from the original, the chosen print mode might be unsuitable. When the print dialogue box is accessed, select Quality and Media from the dropdown box, and click the Printing a Top-Quality Photo from the Print Mode section for a high-definition print.

    Color Options

    • Color calibration on the Pro9000 depends on the driver and loaded document type. From the print dialogue box, select Color Options from the dropdown menu. Choose the Color Correction option appropriate for your computer from the list of options. If there are any color or brightness changes you desire, adjust the Color Balance levels.

    Color Mode

    • From the print dialogue box, select Color Options and choose a suitable preset color adjustment from the Color Mode dropdown menu. Select from Natural, Natural M (manual), B/W (black and white), Cool Tone or Warm Tone.
