My MSN Homepage Won't Customize

The MSN home page gives you access to news, videos, advertising opportunities and other features. You can customize the content and change the look of the page. If your customized settings continue to revert back to the default settings, you may need to update certain software applications.

  1. Reset Internet Explorer Options

    • You may have to reset the Internet Explorer options to get your MSN home page to customize. Open Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" and open "Internet Options." You can reset fonts and colors from this point, and click "OK" on the "Internet Options" page to save your choices.

    Javascript Version

    • If your changes are not being saved, you may have an older version of Javascript than your version of Internet Explorer requires. Download the newest versions of Javascript and update your software.

    Use Microsoft Support

    • Microsoft has free support websites that can help you step by step through your solution if resetting your options or updating your software do not solve the problem. Access these help desks by going to Microsoft's Support website and searching for your particular problem in the search engine.
