There are few books written exclusively on Corel Photo-Paint except for older versions. Photo-Paint is usually covered in CorelDRAW. "CorelDRAW: The Official Guide" by Gary David Bouton is one recommended by Corel. "CorelDRAW X5 Unleashed" by Foster D. Coburn III is an e-book/DVD combo also recommended by Corel. A third book recommended by Corel is "Color Management in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5" by David Millsock.

Some companies offer three-day boot camps in CorelDraw including a single day focused on advanced topics in Photo-Paint. Other providers offer affordable online classes.
