The error message "Poor Line Condition" referrers to a bad phone line connection. The message may also appear as "Comm. Error" or "NG."
Troubleshooting
-
First try resending your document to see if the message persists. If you don't receive the error again, it was just a bad phone connection. If you continue to receive the error message you may have a bad phone line or there may be a problem with the way your machine is connected. Disconnect all devices connected to the phone line, then make sure your fax machine is connected properly. Test your connection again and if the connection is good, connect the other devices one at a time to determine which device was causing the problem.
