Chevrolet manufactured its first pickup truck in 1930. In more modern times, its C/K series of trucks debuted in 1988. In 1993, these trucks were available in a number of trim options.

    Transmission

    • The 1993 trucks were built standard with a five-speed manual transmission with overdrive. A four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive was optional on all trim levels.

    Fuel Economy

    • With the 4.3-liter engine, these trucks averaged between 15 and 17 mpg in the city and between 18 and 22 mpg on the highway. With the 7.4-liter engine, they averaged 10 mpg in the city and 12 mpg on the highway.
