A MacBook is a laptop computer produced by Apple Inc. that has proven extremely popular with home users as well as corporate clients. Google is a technology firm based in Mountain View, California, that is best known for its powerful online search-engine technology.
Though Google is renowned for its online search service (to the point where the term "Google" is typically used as a verb), it also offers its Gmail email service, Google Calendar and YouTube.com, an online video portal.
The most common cause for not being able to get Google to work is the lack of an Internet connection. Confirm that you're able to access other sites and that you're connected to the correct wireless network and not another one that happens to be within range. Check your computer's network settings to confirm you're properly connected.
An out-of-date Web browser can limit your functionality not only on Google but on the rest of the Internet as well. If you're running Internet Explorer on your MacBook, eliminate it. Microsoft discontinued supporting it in 2003.
