Ford F-350 Towing Capacity

When it comes to towing with the 2015 F-Series pickups, none do it better than the Super Duty lineups. This line of pickups includes the F-250, F-350 and F-450, and all kinds of other sorts of trailer-ready features, like dual rear wheels and a revised Power Stroke diesel engine. With the right equipment installed, the F-350 can pull a large trailer without even breaking a sweat.

Conventional Towing

  • The 2015 F-350 has a wide range of conventional towing capacities. The least amount it can tow is 12,100 pounds and that is a Crew Cab model with four-wheel drive, dual rear wheels, 3.73-to-1 axle and the 6.2-liter, V-8 engine. The heaviest conventional trailer the F-350 can tow is 19,000 pounds, and that is with the 6.7-liter, Power Stroke V-8 diesel and the 3.73 axle ratio.

Fifth-Wheel Towing

  • Like conventional towing, the fifth-wheel towing capacity of the 2015 F-350 ranges greatly with its many options. The least it can tow with a fifth-wheel setup is 12,100 pounds with a Crew Cab, four-wheel drive, 3.73-to-1 axle ratio and the 6.2-liter V-8. The maximum fifth-wheel capacity of the F-350 is 26,700 pounds with the Power Stroke diesel engine, four-wheel drive, dual rear wheels and the 4.3-to-1 axle.
