Parking Near Boston Logan Airport

Parking Near Boston Logan Airport thumbnail
Boston Logan is the busiest airport in all of New England.

With its location just across the Mass Pike Bridge from downtown Boston, Logan Airport is just as hard to park near as the rest of the city. Travelers may find that going by taxi or public train transportation (the "T") is a better choice.

  1. Parking Options at Boston Logan Airport

    • There are several on-site options for parking at Boston-Logan Airport including the central airport parking garage, and garages at terminals B and E. Economy parking also is available along the airport roadway with free shuttle service to all terminals.

    Street Parking Near Boston-Logan Airport

    • In 1989 the city of Boston instated a Parking Freeze in East Boston designed to limit the amount of fly and drive spaces for the public as a way to regulate motor vehicle pollution. To park on the street you must have a resident permit on most streets and short-term metered park on others. There is no unregulated street parking in the area.

    Considerations

    • With a T stop right at the airport front gate, travelers can theoretically park anywhere in the city of Boston that they find a legal space, and use the very inexpensive and convenient T to access their flight. When parking on the street in Boston, remember to carefully read all parking regulation signs first.
