Back up your files
-
Please be aware that uninstalling the WordPress software from your Go Daddy hosting account will also delete all your blog entries, photos and themes. It is recommended that you not only export all your blog entries using the export feature in the WordPress tools pallet but also back up the entire database using one of WordPress' suggested PHP backup solutions.
Uninstalling Wordpress - Automatically
-
If you used Go Daddy's one-click installation, you can use the one-click uninstall process. From the hosting control panel, click on the "Your Applications" button, then the "My Applications" tab. Find the WordPress installation you wish to delete and click the "Installation Details" link. On that screen click "Uninstall" and then answer the questions and click the "OK" button.

Uninstalling Wordpress - Manually
-
If you did not use the one-click installation, you will need to manually remove the database and supporting files. From the hosting control panel, go to the "Databases" tab and select MySQL. Locate the database you wish to delete in the list and click the "X" button in the right column and click "OK" to confirm the action. Once the database is deleted you may need to manually remove some extra files. From the hosting control panel, click on the "My Files" button, select the files you wish to delete and click the "Delete" button at the top.
