The Latitude and Inspiron notebooks are laptop computers manufactured by Dell. While both laptop lines have many various models, there are some common differences in the two based on various factors.

  1. Dell Inspiron Market

    • According to Dell, the Inspiron line is designed to be a middle-ground between performance and value. The Inspiron is marketed towards students and average users. It is also designed for multimedia and gaming, according to Villanova University.

    Dell Latitude Market

    • The Dell Latitude is more of a business-centric laptop than the Inspiron. Designed for business-class computing, the Latitude line in network-optimized for companies with over 10 workers. As of August 2010, Dell no longer offers Latitude models on its website.

    Inspiron Technology

    • While the Latitude is centered more towards networking and on-the-go capabilities, the Inspiron has always tried to keep up with technology. As of August 2010, the Inspiron R laptops come equipped with the new, top-of-the-line Intel I3, I5 and I7 processors.
