DX, or Direct Exchange, is a private business-to-business mail and packaging network in the United Kingdom. Direct Exchange is cheaper than standard first class mail. Subscriptions are necessary to use this service.

DX Address

Once subscribed, each member receives a unique Direct Exchange address, or DX Number. These numbers provide a direct line to the location of the intended recipient for delivery.

DX Requirement

There are more than 25,000 DX active addresses. Those who wish to send packages through DX must have the recipient's DX address available.

DX Directory

To obtain a recipient's DX address, you can either search through an online directory or download a copy to your computer for later viewing. Print copies are also available for a small printing charge. These documents receive updates frequently to reflect changes in numbers and new customers.
