To be a voting member requires creative or technical credit on at least six tracks on an album sold commercially in the United States or 12 tracks' worth of digital recordings. Working professionals without enough credits can receive an associate membership. Dues are $100 per year, $180 for two years and $260 for three years according to the Grammy Award website in 2010.

    Winning a Ticket

    • You may be able to win tickets to the Grammy Award ceremony through promotional giveaways. If the promotion has not been approved by The Recording Academy, however, your tickets could be revoked and you would be considered trespassing at the event.
