    Prevention

    • Reduce impotence by limiting or avoiding alcohol, avoiding illegal drugs, not smoking, getting regular exercise, reducing your stress levels and getting enough sleep.

    Diet

    • The best nutrition for impotence includes eating whole grains, produce, lean proteins and healthy oils. Beneficial foods include whole grain bread, brown rice, beans, chicken, turkey, fish, olive oil, nuts and plenty of fruits and veggies.

    Foods to Avoid

    • Men who are obese are much more likely to have erectile dysfunction than are men at a normal weight. Avoid foods that are high in saturated or trans fats as well as refined, processed foods including fatty meats and cheeses, sugar and fried foods.
