Being Green

Products are considered green if they are environmentally sound or beneficial. Origins' motto is "Powered by Nature. Proven by science." They follow several practices to ensure their products and business and manufacturing processes are sustainable.

Organic Ingredients

Origins cosmetics use organic ingredients and 100 percent natural essential oils. Products are produced from natural plants and herbs, including mushrooms, white tea, Rhodiola rosea, The Rose of Jericho, and others.

Clean Energy

Origins is a member of the Environmental Protection Agency's Green Power Partnership for their commitment to the environment by purchasing clean, wind generated energy for their retail stores.

Preservation

As part of Origins' commitment to purity and preservation, all products are created without "parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oil, PABA, petrolatum, paraffin, DEA, or animal ingredients (except cruelty-free honey and beeswax)."

Recycling Program

The Return to Origins Recycling Program is an initiative put forth by Origins in an attempt to reduce the amount of consumer waste sent to landfills. Origins accepts any brand's empty cosmetic containers for recycling.
