Pull-ups and push-ups are exercises that will develop your body. These workouts use your body weight as resistance. Together they develop your torso by working your chest, back, arms, shoulders and abs.
Execution

To complete a pull up grasp the bar with your arms extended. Pull yourself up to the bar. Slowly return to the starting position. To do a push up lie face down with your hands shoulder width apart. Push yourself up until your arms are extended. Return to the starting position.

Push-ups and pull-ups are exercises that can be done by any practitioner. Each requires no or little equipment and variations are available to build intensity.
Disadvantages of Push-Ups

A disadvantage of push-ups is they can develop a disproportioned torso. You will need to use other exercises to build the other areas.
