BMW 335I Vs. Audi A4

Audi A4 and BMW 3-series, particularly, the BMW 335I, are leaders among the German luxury midsize sedans. Known as "entry-level" luxury cars, they are suitable as family vehicles or even daily commuters. The A4 and 335I are comparable in terms of size, price and torque, but the A4 will cost drivers less in the long run.

Both the A4 and the BMW 335I have standard driver and passenger airbags; however the standard Audi A4 features adjustable height seatbelts, crash-mitigating automatic brakes and a blind-spot warning system standard on each vehicle.

In crash tests, the Audi A4 has scored slightly better than the BMW 335I.

Passenger and Cargo Space

The A4's trunk is 4.9 cubic feet larger than the BMW and has 1.5 inches more headroom and .1 inches more front shoulder room than the BMW 3-series sport wagon.
