The main purpose of electrical tape is to insulate electrical wires, but people have found many other uses. It has the ability to stretch, yet it tears easily and comes in many colors. Keep it in your car trunk for unexpected uses.

Mark Your Spot

You can use this tape to mark positions for actors on stage or the placement of props.

Backstage

Lighting cables can be secured with electrical tape. You can even mark props to correspond with the colors you marked on the stage floor.

Sports

If your shin guards won't stay in place, you can secure them with tape or wrap your shoes to keep them from slipping off.

Decorate

If you need a pencil or crayon holder, you can clean an old can and put colored tape around it. Try doing several, with a different color for each can.

Moving

Label your boxes with a different color for each family member. Make it even simpler by marking rooms with the same color tape to correspond with the boxes. Everything will go into the correct room with no guessing.
