  1. Bee Pollen

    • Both bee pollen and propolis, a brown resinous material collected by bees from the buds of trees, have been used to relieve acne.

    Herbs

    • Alfalfa, burdock, dandelion, echinacea, ginseng, gotu kola, haemafine, milk thistle, red clover, sarsaparilla and strawberry leaves make up the host of herbs that can aid acne sufferers.

    Vitamins A and E

    • Vitamin A promotes clear, healthy skin, and vitamin E helps to prevent scarring.

    B Complex

    • Facial oiliness and blackhead formation is reduced by B vitamins, especially pantothenic acid, pyridoxine and riboflavin.

    Vitamin C

    • Vitamin C helps fight the spread of infection.

    Calcium and Vitamin D

    • Calcium keeps the skin healthy, and vitamin D helps to stop calcium depletion.

    Minerals

    • Zinc, used for dermatitis and eczema, is also helpful for acne. Potassium stimulates the kidneys to eliminate poisonous body wastes.
