As we get older we start to see the signs of aging appearing on our faces. Wrinkles and crow's feet can be an indicator of age, telling people that we are no longer a spring chicken. There are many cosmetic procedures that can diminish and erase the sign of aging, but many if not most of these can have unwanted results and side effects. Luckily, there are home remedies that you can do to help reduce and smooth out those wrinkles and crow's feet. Here are a few of the best:
Facial exercises work out and build up the muscles in the face. As we age, these muscles get smaller, making our faces droop and sag.Facial exercises build up facial muscles so that the skin remains tight and supple. For more information on facial exercises, see the resources below.
Massage the face and eye area every day without make up on. Use a nourishing oil, such as vitamin E or Jojoba oil, and use small, circular motions. Massaging releases toxins and encourages oxygen and blood flow to the face.
Take Your Vitamins
Make sure that you are getting the right amount of vitamins. Certain vitamins, such as vitamin C and omega fatty acids, actually fight off free radicals that make skin age.
Drink at least 8, 8 ounce glasses of water every day. If you are dehydrated, you skin will appear sallow and dry, emphasizing wrinkles.
Get Enough Rest
Make sure that you are getting at least 8 hours of restful sleep every night. While staying up late watching television or hanging out with friends is fun, it can also lead to premature aging and wrinkles.
