Is Plasma Better Than LCD?

Plasma TV screens are more reflective than their LCD counterparts, making them ideal for dark rooms but less effective in brightness. Plasma TVs consume less power than LCD TVs during dark scenes, and more power during brighter scenes.

LCD Televisions.

LCD televisions are brighter than plasma models, and can be seen easily in all lighting conditions. One drawback is that LCD TVs occasionally project "motion blur" during action scenes or sporting events, meaning the picture can't keep up with what is happening on screen.

For those planning to keep their television in an area with plenty of lighting, an LCD TV is a better choice. Those who wish to watch their TV in a darker room should opt for a plasma TV. Sports fans and action movie buffs will also be better off with a plasma model, which doesn't suffer from motion blur.
