Movie makeup need not stay on the silver screen. If you want to keep changing your look and always have a new one in your repertoire, you can modify makeup on the big screen to your preferences. Since there are new movies to look forward to all the time, you can count on having makeup inspiration on a regular basis. One example is Jane's makeup from the "New Moon" movie, which is the second part of the "Twilight" saga. Even though Jane may be young--or is at least portrayed by young actress Dakota Fanning--her eye makeup is dark and dramatic, which an older woman could more likely pull off in "real" life. You don't even need Jane's blond hair and pale skin to wear her eye makeup well; since the shades used are all neutral, you can modify them to be as dark as you like, depending on how you want them to contrast with your skin tone.

Here is a video with instructions on applying Jane-inspired makeup if you find yourself intrigued: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmiLQf0Gv9U
