There are many things that come with being a fisherman, like boating, the equipments used, and the fish that are caught. Many fishing décor styles have a vintage feel to them. Use things like tin signs that say clever sayings like "Gone Fishin'." This will immediately bring a sense of fishing décor to the room. Also, put wooden pieces in your home. Wood is reminiscent of nature and will bring a less artificial feeling to the room. Decorate using old, antique fishing rods and reels. Use these as pieces of art around your room.

If a man is a competitive fisherman, then he may get actual trophies from competitions he has won. However, even the casual fisherman may have trophies of a different nature. When you catch a big fish, get it mounted, that way you can show off your prize. If it is a particularly large or colorful piece, then consider choosing the rest of your décor around it.
