Wells Fargo Grant for Teachers
Teachers who are employed in Arizona have an opportunity to apply for the Wells Fargo Teacher's Partner Program, a grant that gives financial support for many different areas in education.

Function

The function of the Wells Fargo Teacher's Partner Program is to give teachers up to $500 in grant money that will help financially with one-time-only projects. The grant could help to ultimately improve academic enrichment and to create positive change in the schools. Applicants for the Teacher's Partner Program can include Arizona teachers in private, charter and public schools, kindergarten through 12th grades.

The Teacher's Partner Program benefits teachers by helping financially with books, supplies, professional development, educational field trips and technological needs.

Selection

The grant recipients will be selected through assessment of the quality of project, educational benefits to students and teachers, integration of the proposed project with school curriculum and the number of students who will benefit. Funding for the grants is awarded approximately six times during a school year. Grant applicants are notified within two weeks following a committee meeting determining applicant selection.
Selection Committee

The committee that determines the recipient of the Teacher's Partner Program grant is comprised of community leaders who represent the diversity of the state of Arizona. The committee members will be given a copy of the grant application before a committee meeting. The members have sole responsibility for choosing and awarding applicants.
