Florida, Texas, California and Oklahoma are a few of the states allowing for injection by other health care professionals.

Another thing on here is not true... Botox is NOT a dermal filler, its relaxes the muscle preventing it to move and cause wrinkles. Dermal fillers fills in the lines. Juvederm and Restylane are popular dermal fillers. As for Mafuson: I am a licensed cosmetologist and work primarly in skin care. I also do permanent makeup, microderm, electrolysis and use to do laser treatments and that is legal in the state of texas... i'm not sure what state you are talking about but its not texas. -

One thing on here isn't ture. "Botox is a prescription only product and estheticians and other beauty professionals are not allowed to inject Botox in any state. " In the state of KY if you have botox certifcation and medical esthetics training after your esthetics license you can preform botox injections if you work for a doctor. "(1) Estheticians practicing under KRS 317B.010 to 317B.060 shall not perform any of the following: Botox or collagen injections, laser treatments, electrolysis, tattoo, permanent makeup, microdermabrasion, or piercing unless practicing under the immediate supervision of a licensed physician."
