Effects of HGH on Women

Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is produced by the pituitary gland. This natural protein is required for normal childhood development. The properties of HGH start to diminish when the aging process begins after a women reaches her 20s. Studies suggest that HGH therapy in women can sustain organ functions, decrease weight, restore skin elasticity, renew vitality, strengthen bones and promote muscle mass.

  1. Function

    • Human Growth Hormone is essential in building lean muscle and bone density. Energy levels, weight control and organ function also benefit from the body's natural HGH. As time passes less HGH is produced depriving the body of what it needs.

    Aging

    • With age, women begin to notice changes in their bodies that are natural. The skin starts to loosen and body fat may start to increase, especially around the stomach, hips and thighs. A woman's mental and emotional well-being is also affected.

    Therapy

    • Human Growth Hormone has been accepted for the treatment of Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD) for children with growth conditions as well as adults with deficiencies. Other treatments include renal insufficiency and AIDS wasting syndrome

    Types

    • Injectable HGH is prescribed as liquid and a powder with a diluting solution. These are the only formulations that have been approved by the FDA. HGH sprays and pills are available without a prescription and do not have FDA approval.

    Benefits

    • Studies have reported that women have experienced benefits from HGH that include increased energy, decreased body fat, leaner muscles, better emotional well-being, improved memory, increased libido, stronger bones and improvement in the skin's appearance.

    Concerns

    • Side effects include increased blood sugar, fluid retention and skin rashes. There is no strict adherence in using HGH pills and sprays. Caution should be used when tempted to purchase these formulas.

    Conclusions

    • Not everyone is suited for human growth hormone treatment. Only a medical professional can make this determination. HGH should be used under the care and guidance of a licensed physician.
