Hi, I'm Dori Decamillis from Red Dot Gallery, we're going to learn how to draw a basketball hoop. Okay, I drew straight line down the center, so I could keep my, my whole hoop centered. I drew a couple of points here and here, that are equidistant from that center, so that I keep it straight. And I draw the sides of my backboard, coming over, a line coming over here, to meet them. And they're going to come into the center. I'm going to draw a little square, so you can make your bank shot. I draw a small ellipse, where the hoop goes. And the net, it's kind of complicated to draw, so I'm going to draw some little triangles. There's actually 12 of these little rings, that go around the basketball hoop. We're not going to try to get them. But if you draw some little triangles, and have them sort of, come down to triangles at the end. That'll give it enough realism. And also, draw sort of a band around the outside of your backboard. Then, your post, which holds up the top. You want it to be equidistant from your line in the center. Draw a little curved line, where it meets up with it's base, and that is how you draw a basketball hoop.
