Hi, I'm Dori DeCamillis. Today, we're going to learn how to draw a Canadian maple leaf. Okay, so, first I drew, with a straightedge, I drew a line down the middle to keep my maple leaf straight. I drew points for the top and for the top of each little point here, and where the bottom is. So, I'm going to draw my stem first, which comes out a little wider at the bottom. And, my first points come to, out to the right and left here, equidistant from the middle. And, I'm going to come up to the top, and draw the point. Now, each one of the sections that come out, there's three of them, look a little bit like a crayon. A high point in the middle, and a lower point on the side. And, they're pretty, everything's pretty straightforward. There's two little parts that poke out here at the bottom. And again, if you draw those points first, it's going to be much easier to get your lines straight. You could use a straightedge if you feel better about it. I tend to make a little bit of a curve right here, in these indentations. And then, the points are pointy. These are definitely curves right here. I'm going to erase my reference line in the middle, strengthen some of my lines. I'm going to get rid of these lines here, and draw that in a little better. And, this is how you draw a Canadian maple leaf.
