Hi, I'm Dori DeCamillis from Red Dot Gallery. Today, we're going to learn how to draw crossbones. Alright, I'm going to start at the top of one bone, and come diagonally. I don't want my bones to look exactly the same on each end. I'm going to give this one a little shadowing. This one's going to come underneath. Little shadowing, have the shadowing be a little different on each one, so it looks more interesting. And then, for fun, I'll give it a little bit of a cast shadow, as if light's coming over here from your right, where the bone is up in the air, the shadow's going to come away from it a little bit. I'm also going to give it a proximity shadow, which is a shadow right here where the object touches. As if comes away the object, the shadow gets a little more blurry. There's my proximity shadow. This bone is a little closer to the ground, so its shadow isn't going to be floating up as much. But, because these two little knobs on the end are the part that is actually touching, it will float up a little bit. See, it's going to float up right here a little bit, and then it's touching here. So, this shadow's going to come kind of underneath. And, I'm going to strengthen these lines just a tad, make them a little more interesting. And, this is how you draw crossbones.
