I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing, Murray, Utah. Here to show you how to repair a bathroom faucet. Tools that will be needed: you'll need the screwdrivers, pair of pliers, crescent wrench, and depending on the brand of the faucet, there are some specialty tools that may be needed. First thing you want to do is remove the index button. You'll need a small screwdriver or a pick for that. Remove the screw from the handle, remove handle. Each faucet has a little different design to it. Maybe a couple of little adapters that need to be removed. In this case, we have a clip. Some of these cartridges will unscrew, some of them are simply removed by pulling them out. You can take this down to your local store, pick one up, get it matched up, and you're ready for a reinstall. Reinstalling in this case, single control cartridge simply slides in. Tool which normally comes with it will be able to push it completely in to place and just work everything in reverse. Put your clips and accessories back into place. Reinstall your handle. Reinstall your index button. Now you're ready to turn your water back on. Don't forget to turn the water off before you get started. And again I'm Terry with Towers Murray Plumbing, Murray, Utah. We've just shown you how to repair or replace a cartridge in a bathroom faucet.
