Hi, I'm Michael Weisner. I'm an animator, illustrator and graphic designer, and today I'm going to show you how to draw a painted turtle. Let's get started. Alright guys, to begin with drawing our painted turtle, you want to first draw out the body of a turtle. So, we're going to first start off with our head, draw an eye, draw another eye, we'll draw his neck. Once we have that, we're going to start drawing out his shell. Alright, and now that we have that, start drawing out his bottom, then draw out his front legs. There we go. Now that we've got that, then we're going to add our details to our turtle. Now that we've got that, we need to start making him look like a painted turtle. Now, what's the difference between a regular turtle and a painted turtle is that their shells are going to have some very odd textures to them, or splots or colors, so for his bottom, add some heavy lines. There we go, and then around his top shell. I'm going to add some edges around it, some strange pigments, you know, just make it look a little weird. And there you have it, our painted turtle. And that's how you draw a painted turtle. I hope you enjoyed. I'll see you next time.
