Hi, welcome. My name is Lisa, I am the founder of Exquisite Events, and I'm going to show you different ideas for centerpieces using mason jars. One example that I'd like to show you today is how to use mason jars for votive holders using different colors of sand. You will need a mason jar. They do come in different sizes so be creative. Have some fun. And also you will need the two different color sands that you'll be using or three. Black, and pink, and white are very popular especially for beach weddings, so it makes a great centerpiece. Votive holder, votive candle, and some ribbon. The first step is to take your mason jar. Make sure they are clean. And then you are going to take your sand and you are going to begin to pour. And I've already started here as you can see. I'm using pink and a white very pale other color, alternate color. And you are going to, I like doing it one at a time. You get a different design depending on how you fill the jar. If you do it one at a time versus both together. You can also mix it up which is fun. If adding a third color just go ahead and alternate between them. You'll see that when you are pouring from the right side it tends to go on the left side of the jar and vice versa. So, what I like to do is rotate the jar as I'm filling. And that way, you get a really creative design, and it's so much fun to see how it comes out. Now, you may leave it as such and place your votive candle directly in the jar. And you can push it down with just gently so as not to mess up the design. Another example I've done it with pink and black with a white ribbon. Votive holder goes right on top with your votive. So, here you have your mason jar centerpiece using sand. Wonderful idea for a wedding receptions. We do a lot of beach weddings so this is great to tie in the sand ceremony from your ceremony with reception decor. Tie in your colors. Very cost-friendly, and just lovely. I love this idea. Thanks again. My name is Lisa from Exquisite events.
